Library Follies!

Can you sing and act? Then you may have a role in Library Follies! to be performed at the CSLA Conference in November 2009. This short Broadway musical review will be staged during the President's Reception.

If you, your spouse or son or daughter has singing and acting talents, please send the following to the CSLA office:
  • A recent picture
  • A short video recording, on a CD, DVD or attached file to an email, that best reflects your singing and acting abilities
  • A brief resume of your performances - high school, college, community theater, choir, choral groups, etc.
We are also looking for musicians and people with experience in stagecraft, set design, makeup, costumes, etc. If that's where your talents lie, let us know.

Library Follies! is a short musical review composed of approximately eight songs with new lyrics about libraries and people who love them. The lyrics are set to the tunes of well-known Broadway musical numbers.

If chosen, your compensation will be the thrill of the performance and the applause of your colleagues. Or as
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote: "The reward of a job well done is having done it."
